The closest weekend to January 17th, Saint Antony.
During all the weekend, there will be a catwalk of cavalry riden by horsesmen well dressed with the typical suit of Priorat. There also will be dances and the benedicction of the Saint's bread.

SANIT ANTONI'S PARTY
The 19th January, Saint Antoni
As every year, the 17th of January there will be an excusion to the hermitage dedicated to this saint. When this act is over, the animals will be blessed.

WINTER'S MAJOR FEST

The January 18th is holiday in La Vilella Alta. As every year, there will be musicians with a vermouth.

As every year, the closest weekend to January 20th, Gratallops is celebrating the Winter's Mayor Fest with an excusion to the hermitage of the Consolació.

The 2nd of February, the day before of Saint Blai
As every year, the February 2nd starts El Rotllo, a typical sweet which is sharen out and it is eaten the day after, Saint Blai, the 3th of February, in the countryside or next to the river.

As every year, the 3rd of February starts the Saint Blai's Fest in Falset. Since the 11 am until the 9 pm there will be different religious events. At 7 pm there will be a walk arround all the village with the music band until the Sant Malanyet's curch where some dances will be danced.

During all the month of April the season of the concerts will be celebrated, the Musical Days are organized by the Associació Musical Vila of Falset. The last weekend of April there will be the final concert by Banda Vila de Falset.

WINE CONGRESS
First Sunday of March
The first of May in Catalonia is a free day and in Falset there is the Wine Congress. There will be different wineries of the region. Those who want could try some wines buying tickets for 10 tastings.
It will be also conferences, classes to learn how to taste the wines and a cooking competition.

ROSE EXPOSITION

The rose exposition arrives to Priorat in Falset. During all the Saturday and all the Sunday there will be a rose exposition which will finish with the deliverance of the awards.

The Taste with Women retourns with elegance and talent. 13 big women who produce wine in Priorat join forces to exhibit her new products and allow people taste them in the Garden of the Restaurant Clos Figueres.

It arrives the model date of the Carignan in Porrera. During all the day there will be a taste and an exhibition of the wines from Porrera.
SANT JOAN DE LA CIRERETA MAJOR FEST
The closest saturday to the 6th and the 7th of May
As every year, the Major Fest from Sant Joan de la Cirereta arrives for the youngest and the eldest people. During all the weekend there will be inflatables, construction classes and games for the youngest.
For the eldest there will be a discoteque at Casal and a walk around the village with the giants.

The Floral Games of Torroja del Priorat are quite popular. Those who want can send his text durin all march and this weekend the winners will be known.
The jury will be composed by a representat of the Centre Cultural and Recreatiu La Unió de Torroja del Priorat and two more people as a representants of the culture from Priorat.

The magic night arrives in Porrera with the swiched on of the gale, a bonfire in the middle of the village. There will be also the musicians while those who want can eat and drink.

LA VILELLA ALTA
LA VILELLA ALTA'S MAJOR SUMMER FEST
July 25th, Saint Jaume
Since Saint Jaume and during two more days, La Vilella Alta will be celebrating his Major Summer Fest.
The first day there will be a mass in Santa Llucia's Church. At 12 am there will be a discoteque for everybody.
During the day after, there will be a childlike enthusiast during all the afternoon until 8 pm. At that moment there will be the dinner and the dances or the discoteque.
La Vilella Alta will finsih his Major Fest the 27th with different games and a concert with the Grup Montsant.

August 4th
During the 4th and the 5th of August, in Poboleda there are parties. A funny party because of the activities that there are; popular races, concerts, quizes, games, and also there will be concerts and dances.
HAVANERA'S CONCERTS
August 15th, Mare de Déu d'Agost
As every 15th of August, Poboleda is celebrating the tradicional concert with catalan typic songs.
The day after, the 16th there will be an excursion to the Maria Asumpta's Church.

During all the days there will be different acts, dances, quizes, but the principal event will be during the Saint Llorenç's day, when there will be an excursion to the Consolació's church in the evening.

The Gold Nose Competition is an event celebrated every year that proclaims the best sommelier of the Priorat. During the competition there will be conferences made by the bests sommeliers in Priorat.
There will be three categories: the Nose, the Little Nose and the Big Nose.

August 15th, Mare de Déu d'Agost
As every Mare de Déu d’Agost in Falset there are some traditional events like the EspÃgol, a walk around the village where the kids bring presents to the eldest person in the village, the youngest and those who had helped in everything in the village during the year.

The streets from La Morera de Montsant are full of people since the 8th until the 10th of September because of the Major Fest. There will be different events for all the ages.

Saint Candida is the reason for the Second Major Fest from Falset. The second fest has lots of events and quite different, thought because the youngest and the eldest have a good time.

SAINT MIQUEL'S MAJOR FEST
September 29th
The 29th of September, Saint Miquel, it is de Major Fest from Torroja del Priorat.
During the Major Fest there will be different activities such as dances, competitions, expositions, tastes and concerts.
OCTOBER
Between September and October is time to pick up the grapes in Priorat. This is why there aren't parties or popular events. All the inhabitants have only one goal: pick up the grapes.
There are wineries that during this procedure offer visits to know this activity, so important to produce a good wine. To know which wineries offer this service you must go to the webpage of the Certificate of Origin: www.doqpriorat.org .

AUTUMN MAJOR FEST

Porrera, as every year is full of people because of the Sant Francesc d’AssÃs's Major Fest. During all the weekend there will be different activities such as the distribution of cakes across all the streets by the kids, guided visits and more.
TASTE PORRERA
Second Saturday of November
During all the Saturday there will be the Tasta Porrera, a sample and a wine tasting with the typical dishes in Priorat.

SAINT ANDREU'S FAIR
November 29th, Saint Andreu
As every year, the Saint Andreu's Fair arrives to Falset, a fair where there are lots of stands about all types of things in relation to the oldest traditions in Priorat.
There will be a section dedicated to the handmade products.
DECEMBER
BELLMUNT DEL PRIORAT
SAINT BÀRBARA, MINER'S REPRESENTATIVE
December 4th, Saint BÃ rbara
Bellmunt del Priorat is the unic village in all the region which has mines and the 4th of December, Sanit BÃ rbara it is celebrated an event recovered from the past.
There is a procession since the mines until the village, where there will be a musical performance.
SAINT INNOCENT'S MAJOR FEST
December 28th
The Major Fest in Bellmunt starts the 20th in the midday, where there is a major fest, followed by a concert during all the night.
The day after there is a lunch in which all the village takes part. After this lunch, the youngest make a flour war.

SAINT LLÚCIA, MUSICIAN'S REPRESENTATIVE
December 13rd
The 13rd of December is Saint Llúcia, the musician's representative. This is why La Vilella Baixa organizes a musical performance and a vermouth.
